A man has been accused of unlawfully carrying a blade in public.
Daniel Fitzgerald, 26, of Winstanley Road, Bamfurlong, appeared before Wigan magistrates to face a charge that he was found in Harrogate Street armed with a kitchen knife.
He was released on bail until appearing before a Bolton judge on September 25.
