"Unfortunately, WE have made the decision to close until further notice as a precautionary measure.

"Although this is heartbreaking for us having recently reopened after the pandemic and the success of our kitchen, the safety of both our staff and customers still remains our top priority.

"We would like to make it clear that this is nothing to worry about from a customer perspective. Our team, however, work closely with one another and although no other staff members have symptoms, we think its best to temporarily close The Posthouse.

"As a business we have put all necessary measures into place to protect both our staff and customers."

During the months in which eating and drinking establishments were barred from opening and then only allowed to welcome customers back with strict rules in place, the team at The Posthouse was extending the premises, building a kitchen, establishing a food menu and giving Orrell a jobs boost by creating around a dozen roles.
