Wigan food giant Heinz launches its first ever festive charity jumper

Wigan-based food giant Heinz has announced the launch of its first official charity Christmas jumper, just in time for the festive season.

The jumper comes in a rather fetching Heinz Beanz blue, reads BEANZ MEANZ CRIMBO and is adorned with floating beans, snowflakes, reindeers and hearts.

The knit will cost £30, and the best bit? All profits are going to Heinz Beanz charity partner Magic Breakfast, who work to ensure that no child is too hungry to learn by providing nutritious breakfast food to partner schools across the UK.

With these jumpers, Heinz is hoping to enable the charity to provide just under 50,000 breakfasts to hungry schoolchildren across England and Scotland.

The jumper comes as part of a wider five-year partnership between Heinz and Magic Breakfast, in which Heinz is providing No Added Sugar Beans as part of a nutritious breakfast for the one in five children at risk of starting the day hungry in the UK.

It follows on from Heinz’s Silence the Rumble campaign which started in September, and included an emotive film, that illustrates, through a children’s story book style, the effect that hunger – or The Rumble can have on a child.

Available in small, medium and large, there are only 2000 available, so if this jumper is a festive fit for you, then look snow further and head to www.heinztohome.com now to get your hands on the limited edition design.
