Peer support charity Breastfeeding Together is planning a host of events in June in a bid to make it the biggest and best campaign yet.

There will be several borough events, including the return of the popular dance flash mob at Wigan’s Grand Arcade on June 9 when there will also be an information stall. Leigh’s Spinning Gate has the same still the following Saturday.

This year the dance will be combined with a Big Feed event, which breastfeeding mums are invited to attend at 1pm, before either watching or joining the dance.

Supporters of breastfeeding, such as dads, grandparents, friends, mums who have previously breastfed and expectant mums, are all urged to attend.

Volunteer-run support groups will also host parties throughout June to which breastfeeding and expectant mums will be invited.
