It changed its name to The Rose Club for a bit before returning to its former title but, as these pictures covering a period from 1960 to 2014 show, it is amazing what range of events have been hosted there no matter what its name and how you say it. Dances, charity events, school presentations, kick-boxing, wrestling, stand-up comedy, concerts, arm-wrestling, blood donation, fairs….etc
