Rolling back the years: picture memories of Hindley St Benedict's RC Primary

Schoolday memories will flood back with this selection of photographs taken at St Benedict’s RC Primary School in Hindley.

Pupils, staff, visitors and events from over several decades feature.

13. Stuart Wilson, 11, and fellow pupils at St Benedict's, made posters and radio programmes about the effects of smoking in the home on Deanery CE High School's media bus with their teacher Lisa Young and Deanery pupil Rebecca Lack, 15. The visit to the school, on No Smoking Day, was one of a number around Hindley's schools that have been organised by Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust
