KELLY Brook’s engagement has sparked debate among fans - but one bone of contention has been her involvement with an animal rights organisation.
The 34-year-old has been criticised on Twitter after her new fiance, Ashton-born David McIntosh, was employed by a firm to transport dead badgers following the controversial cull,
Many campaigners have voiced their dismay at the hypocrisy especially as animal-lover Kelly fronts PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and called for the group to withdraw her.
Meanwhile, Kelly, who met her future in-laws in Spring View, last weekend, is now in New York and is promoting her new fragrance, Audition.
She told OK: “We wanted to do something timeless, classic and sophisticated. It’s quite musky and sexy.
“The name came from thinking about making a first impression and when you watch shows like The X Factor it’s all about being the best you can be and making a statement.
“Plus, I’m an actress and I’m always auditioning.”
She added her best audition was for The Big Breakfast, for which she landed a presenting role with Johnny Vaughan.
