LUCY-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall are getting impatient.
Lucy-Jo, who is the ambassador for Wigan charity Joining Jack, was due to give birth on August 28, but the baby girl is still holding on.
And as Coronation Street actor Alan attended Ash Tree House care home, in Hindley, last month, he told residents he was ready to rush out in case, but the call never came.
The couple have took to Twitter to keep fans updated, with Lucy-Jo stating: “Thanks for all your lovely tweets, still no signs @alanhalsall is keeping me motivated. Our little girl is clearly comfortable x”
Alan, who plays Tyrone in the popular soap, said: “No baby news. Tried EVERY “old wives tale” to no avail? Any thing else we can try? #cantwaitanylonger,” tweeting that the pair had tried curry, pineapple, walking, castor oil and still no sign.
Adding that this week was the longest of his life, yesterday, he posted that “Hopefully, today’s the day??”
But Alan seemed quite hopeful that as the September birth date would mean his daughter would be one of the oldest in her class,it would be better for her, especially as he was one of the youngest,
At the time of print, there was no sign Lucy-Jo had gone into labour - fingers crossed.
