HELEN Flanagan and former Latics player Scott Sinclair are expecting their first child.
The ex-Coronation Street actress posted on Twitter: “Me and Scott are expecting our first baby in the summer. We are both so happy and so excited. Thankyou for all your kind messages xxx.”
The 24-year-old had recently been on Twitter complaining about feeling ill, and now it is believed she may have been suffering from morning sickness.
She had previously spoken about her desire to be a mum and said she wants up to four children with her boyfriend, Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair, 25.
A friend told The Sun: “It’s a much-wanted pregnancy which makes it all the sweeter. Helen is so thrilled.”
Helen has said that while she and Scott - who have been together for about two years on and off - have spoken about getting married in the past, she wants to have children with him before they say ‘I do’.
She said: “Scott and I have talked about tying the knot on a beach. But I think we would like a few children first.
“I have always liked the idea of having your children at your wedding.
“We are not planning kids right now but if happens it happens and if I were to fall pregnant, I’d be really happy.”
The model, who had a guest role in Holby City in the summer, says she turned down a reported £250,000 to do Celebrity Big Brother this year because Scott was concerned about how stressful it might be for her, especially as she faced a backlash after appearing in I’m a Celebrity two years ago.
