LITTLE baby Alfie has been christened.
Proud mum Catherine Tyldesley revealed in her blog that she and fiance Tom Pitfield, of Standish, has organised for the six-month-old to be baptised.
She posted: “Very special week for the Tyldesley/Pitfields!
“Our gorgeous son Alfie James was baptised this week. Joined by close friends and family – we celebrated Alfie’s special day in style. With afternoon tea afterwards and a big Sweetie Cart for the kids – Filled with healthy snacks instead.
“Alfie was treated to a Merabi christening suit and his little friends Paula Lane’s son Arthur and Jennie McAlpine’s son Albert joined him on his special day – complete cuteness overload!”
And Alfie stole the show as he posed in an Ultimate Performance top in Manchester last week with his mum and dad as part of the gym’s opening.
And Catherine was part of the cast in Coronation Street’s live episode on Wednesday,
She appeared more excited than nervous as she shared a message on her Twitter page.
Clearly ecstatic, she wrote: “#CorrieLive time!!! Wahoooo!!!! Break a leg my lovely Corrie family. Wishing everyone at @itvcorrie lots of luck for tonight’s #LiveEp It will be amazing! I feel sick and I’m not even in it!#NowhereLeftToRun.”
Her colleague, Ashton-born Kym Marsh also spoke of her excitement of being involved: “I was in seven scenes, so not as many as others, but still nerve-wracking.”
