A new report from Christmastrees.co.uk has revealed the UK towns and cities that spend the most on Christmas lights and decorations. The data is based on Freedom of Information requests submitted to more than 100 local authorities to determine the budget allocated for Christmas decorations this year, and how much money has been spent on decorations per year since 2015. The average spend for each town and city is based on figures for the past five years, from 2015 to 2019. How did your area rank?
