KAY Burley has hit out at The Sun’s head of PR after he boasted about keeping the newspaper’s topless page 3 girls.
Dylan Sharpe posted an image of Thursday’s topless model on Twitter to the former Beech Hill resident, who has publicly opposed the tradition. He also tagged in other opponents, including Labour Deputy Leader Harriet Harman. The Sky News broadcaster replied: “I’m sure your mother is incredibly proud of you Dylan. I know I would be.”
Speculation has been rife all week long that the tabloid’s editors had chosen to only feature partially-clothed models, ending a 45-year tradition. But it confirmed that it would not be banning the controversial images.
