Writing in her OK! column, she said: “Dan and I are still talking. Time will tell if we can work things out and at the moment we’re both still wearing our engagement rings. Hopefully we can sort through our issues but if we don’t he’ll always be someone very special to me and vice versa - we have no animosity towards each other and we’re both decent people - I adore him.”

She also addressed reports that she was upset that Dan had been out in the same bar as his ex - and mother of his daughter Lexi - Stephanie Waring, who was incidently with Kym’s former husband Jamie Lomas and his new partner Chloe Peers.

Kym said: “I didn’t suffer a blow at all. They were all just in the same place at the same time - people often end up in the same haunts in Manchester.”

The former Hear’Say singer was also noticeably absent from her former Corrie co-star Michelle Keegan’s wedding. She said: “They did invite me to their wedding but I didn’t go as I want to spend time with my family at the moment, what with everything that’s going on, but I’m sure Michelle and Mark (Wright) will understand.”

And she is also suffering stomach pains, which doctors suspect is a gallbladder disease or gallstones. She is still undergoing tests.
