KYM Lomas is celebrating after Coronation Street came up trumps at the National Television Awards.
The Ashton star was thrilled when the ITV soap won Best Serial Drama, tweeting: “Congratulations to all my corrie family!! What a great night for us all.”
And of course, she was the belle of the ball as she wore a Gorgeous Couture gown.
She tweeted: “Huge thank you to @gorgeouscouture for allowing me to be a part of designing the dress I wore last night. I loved it! The Polly dress.”
And keeping it in the family, Kym’s make up was done by husband Jamie Lomas’s sister Cassie, tweeting: “Thanks to my super talented sis in law @cassielomas for doing my make up and bezzie @VincentAllenby for doing my hair for nta luv u guys.”
Fellow actor Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, won the award for Best Serial Drama Performance, beating co-star Michelle Keegan in the process.
However, Natalie Gumede, aka Kirsty Soames, lost out to EastEnders actor David Witts in the Best Newcomer category.
Meanwhile Kym recently paid tribute to Former Coronation Street star Sophiya Haque, who played barmaid Poppy Morales, who passed away, just weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
Kym tweeted: ““I was very lucky to have known and worked with beautiful Sophiya Haque a beautiful and talented lady who will be missed much! God bless.”
