COULD Robbie Williams be making a guest appearance on Lawson’s tour?
The four-piece band are supporting the singer on his Australian Let me Entertain You tour and they have also performed a duet with him already, singing Angels, as well as Back For Good.
Singer Andy Brown shared lead vocals with Robbie on the last Perth date of his tour, with other members providing backing vocals and sharing the centre stage.
Andy, who attended Winstanley College, told the Daily Star: “It’s been amazing. We met Robbie in Perth and its been brilliant from day one.
“Robbie doesn’t make you feel like the support band, we feel like the main band.
“He is so laid back and he doesn’t drink, like me – we’re buddies as we’re both teetotal, so we play Fifa together and talk about footie.
“Him and Ryan our bassist have a fascination with aliens so we sat up talking about aliens and UFOs on the first night.”
Andy hopes their time with the former Take That star will lead to a long-term friendship, with opportunities to work together.
The 28-year-old added: “Hopefully we can do more stuff with him, we have spoken about doing some writing together for our next album.
“I’d love to work on his new solo album too – I’ve spent most of the year writing.”
He also teased that Robbie could join the band on their UK tour, which kicks off in Bristol on November 7, as he said: “We’re are talking about inviting a special guest for the opening night.”
