IT was a case of “eyes down, look in” as Wigan’s MP took over the role of bingo calling at the launch of a national campaign.
Lisa Nandy visited the Gala Bingo Club, on Crompton Street, as part of the Boost Bingo campaign to lower the tax duty faced by venues putting on the popular numbers game.
Campaigners claim reducing the tax rate from 20 per cent to 15 per cent will create jobs and investment in the industry.
