PRINCE William and Kate Middleton are adjusting to life with their beautiful baby son, George, at Kensington Palace.
The couple left hospital yesterday (Tuesday) to be greeted by hundreds of well-wishers and the world’s media.
The future King was born at 4.24pm on Monday, at St Mary’s Hospital in London, weighing 8lbs 6oz.
The Prince of Wales said: “Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild.
“It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.
“Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time.”
The baby boy, who’s name has yet to be revealed, will be third in line to the throne.
News of the birth came via email in a break with tradition. The official notification is now on display on the traditional, ornate easel at Buckingham Palace.
