A LATICS-mad pub boss plans to throw a party if Roberto Martinez’s men triumph at Wembley.

If our team are victorious on Saturday, InnTheBar chain owner Tony Callaghan will be offering heavily discounted alcoholic drinks at local venues.

And 50p from each drink purchased will also be donated to the Wigan and Leigh Hospice charity.

Tony said: “It is my way of getting behind the team, saying well done and thank you for doing us proud.

“It’s every Wiganer’s dream for their home club to get to Wembley.

“So, as a local company I am very proud of the team and I would want to celebrate with them - I’m just so glad that I can do something for Wigan Athletic and the town.

“Everybody will be elated if they win next Saturday and so why not carry on the celebrations.”

The price of drinks will be reduced on Tuesday May 14 if Wigan Athletic claim the FA Cup against rivals, Manchester City.

Bars who are holding the promotion include, Little 15, Harry’s Bar and the The Raven in Wallgate, Swinley’s 15s, Number 15 in Pemberton and Cross Keys bar in Ashton.

Tony chose to donate to the charity which is close to his heart.

He said: “Cancer has been very close to me as it has affected my family a lot of times. And I have visited the hospice numerous times and think it is absolutely fantastic. It’s a wonderful place.

“So I thought I might as well give something to them in light of Wigan Athletic’s success. I’m very proud of my home town and wouldn’t want to give it to anything else.”
