AN anti-terrorism hacker group is hoping to stop violence through the music of Rick Astley.

Anonymous, a loose collective of hackers, announced it would be spamming verified ISIS hashtags on Twitter with his hit song Never Gonna Give You Up.

The move is part of the massive Rickrolling phenomenon, whereby a person provides a hyperlink which is seemingly relevant to the topic at hand, but actually leads to the Newton-le-Willow singer’s video for the pop hit.

Under the #OpParis @OpParisOfficial handle, they tweeted: “Our first, yet simple hashtag to #RickrollDaesh is #SupportISIS. Simple, but just our starter. Remember to post the video link. Have fun.”
