SHERRIE Hewson is finally out of the mad house.
The Wigan resident came sixth in Thursday night’s final of Celebrity Big Brother and uttered relief as she spent 29 days in the famous reality house.
I have had the most fantastic timeSherrie Hewson
Speaking to presenter Emma Willis, she said; “I have had the most fantastic time but it has been an emotional rollercoaster. I loved everyone, but it really gets to you. I have enjoyed every second.”
The Benidorm actress said that she found nominating people for eviction was the hardest part of living in the house. She said: “Nominating people and seeing them evicted really cut me up. It was very sensitive and emotional in the house. You don’t know what to expect when you go in there. You are cut off from the world - there are only two rooms to go in.”
Sherrie didn’t receive as much airtime as her American housemates, with viewers suggesting she was boring.
She said: “There was no way I was going to be anything other than what I am. I am not going to be effing and blinding. Nobody came at me, nobody attacked me and so I didn’t need to argue and come back a them. I am normal and I am not going to pretend to scream and shout just to make a TV show. I became the house nana. I cared for everybody and that is why I got upset.”
Sherrie’s memorable moments included getting in the bath fully clothed, being treated to a birthday strip show by James Hill and Austin Armacoat and impersonating Janice Dickinson.
