TAYLOR Swift is getting pally with a well known Wigan actor, as well as becoming musically linked with a local crooner.
The young singer allowed Sir Ian McKellen and his best mate Sir Patrick Stewart to join her celeb squad, so-called after her music video for Bad Blood, which included a host of famous names, including Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne.
They got the nod of acceptance after Sir Ian gave his own Shakespearean recital of Bad Blood and Sir Patrick recited the words to Blank Space. Following their performances, Sir Patrick requested on Twitter that Taylor consider letting them join her group and she accepted.
Patrick told People.com: “Taylor’s coming to Los Angeles soon, so I’m hoping that we’re going to connect. I mean, Ian McKellen and I are in the squad now, so right on!”
Meanwhile, Taylor has become entwined with the legendary Rickroll.
Brazilian DJ Luckas, gave the American singer’s Blank Space a tropical remix, which apparently sounds rather reminiscent of Newton-le-Willows crooner Rick Astley.
And Rick has had a double Rickroll, as American singer songwriter and rapper Frank Ocean was the latest “victim”. His brother Ryan Breaux, posting a link about Frank’s album, Boys Don’t Cry, with the caption “It’s finally out! Link in my bio,” on Instagram but it went straight through to Rick’s famous Never Gonna Give You Up tune.
