BRADLEY Wiggins has blasted fellow Team GB Olympic heroes for appearing on too many TV chat shows.
He made the dig on his Sky documentary, A Year In Yellow, after medal winners including Jess Ennis and Mo Farah appeared on Jonathan Ross’s show, saying: “I’ve got a good management team who weren’t flogging me to death the moment the Olympics were over. So I didn’t go on Jonathan Ross or Chatty Man, because it’s not what it’s ever been about.”
Wiggins, whose wife Catherine is from Shevington, was due to host BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks but had to pull out after he was knocked off his bike last week.
Meanwhile, the famous throne on which he was presented with his gold medal this summer failed to sell at an auction at Sotheby’s, earlier this month.
It is expected to go under the hammer at a later auction.
