What appealed to you most about the property?
I was attracted by its semi rural location in a quiet cul-de-sac with panoramic views of Ashurst Beacon. I also liked the bright and airy feel of the rooms.
How long have you lived in the property? Sixteen years.
What have you done since moving into the property?
Replaced central heating system and bathroom suite in 2011, We have had a conservatory built, first floor extension (21ft bedroom), UPVC windows, patio and driveway and new flooring throughout.
Why are you selling?
Downsizing and relocating to be closer to family.
What is your favourite room and why?
My conservatory as it’s peaceful and extremely private. I also enjoy morning coffee in the breakfast room overlooking the garden.
How close are the amenities?
We are a few minutes drive away from the M6 motorway and a very short walk away from Appley Bridge railway station. It’s within walking distance of shops together with local bus routes. There are excellent local schools nearby and lots of country walks including Fairy Glen and Ashurst Beacon.

This property would appeal to families with children who would make use of the spacious bedrooms or a professional couple who would appreciate the peaceful location.
