A FORMER TV Gladiator from Wigan will be the envy of thousands of men around the country today after it was revealed he is dating Kelly Brook.
Ashton-born David McIntosh, better known as Tornado, is reported to have been dating the presenter and model for some time and things have got so serious now that he has moved in with her.
It is alleged 27-year-old David hasn’t been home or left her house since New Year’s Eve.
He was seen with Kelly on December 31 as they headed off to party at her new bar, The Steam and Rye in London, to see in 2014.
And just days later David, who forged a career in the Royal Marines, was also spotted outside her house on Sunday morning after allegedly spending another date night at Bodo’s Schloss nightclub together on Saturday.
In the past David has also been linked to glamour model Danielle Lloyd, former Miss Manchester Sara Beverley Jones and former Miss England Rachel Christie. But 34-year-old Kelly has also recently been seen holding hands with American actor Chace Crawford. This was just days after being linked to 25-year-old ASOS model Harvey Newton-Hayden at Rita Ora’s party.
Despite the rumours about other men in Kelly’s life, it seems that both she and David are embarking on something quite serious.
Friends say David is “like the cat that got the cream and hasn’t stopped smiling since.”
A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘I’ve spoken to David and understandably he is over the moon. He hasn’t left the place and he’s growing very close to Kelly.”
David was a Royal Marine before joining Gladiators in 2008 and after the show came off the air, he worked as a mercenary aiding US forces in Iraq and combatting pirates in the seas off Somalia.
In an interview with the Wigan Evening Post four years ago he revealed that he and brother Dan were launching a Wigan-based fitness course to combat child obesity.
The romance comes after a turbulent year of heartbreak for Kelly who split with her ex, rugby union player Danny Cipriani, after it was revealed that he had been sending text messages to another woman.
