Appeal for missing 70-year-old

Police have issued an appeal for the whereabouts of George Shortman, who is currently missing from Mosley Common.

He is said to have learning difficulties and suffer from Parkinson's Disease, leading to concerns about his safety.

Police say he is white and has a large build with dark hair and a goatee beard.

The last time he is said to have been seen was at around 6.20pm on Monday, when he was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans with a blue parka coat.
