POLICE are appealing for information to trace a man who has gone missing from home.

Arthur Haselden, 61, was last seen at around 5.15pm on Sunday, October 26, on Swinley Street, Wigan. He had been fixing a radiator at a friend’s home and stated he was going to get the bus back to Wrightington, but he has not made any of his work appointments since.

He is described as white, 5ft 4 tall of a stocky build with short black hair, clean shaven with brown eyes and he wears glasses.

It is thought that Arthur has links to Southport and that he could possibly be staying in a B&B in the area.

PC Sean Dalby of Lancashire Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Arthur and I would appeal to anyone who knows where he is, or who may have seen him, to get in touch with us.

“If Arthur himself sees this appeal, please contact your family or us to let us know that you are ok and that you are safe.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 1077 of November 3rd.

Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
