A MAN has been arrested following a machete attack in Wigan.
At around 6.30am on Sunday August 30, police were called to Waterside Drive, in Wigan, to a report a man had been stabbed.
A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries to his back, which required stitches; he was released the same day.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and been bailed until October 26 pending further enquiries.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and has been bailed until October 26 pending further enquiries.
