The Emojibator, which costs £26, is styled after the phallic symbol often used in lieu of cruder emojis.

Amused social media users branded the toy “ridiculous” but “genius”, poking fun at the toy’s photo shoot involving a cat.

Joshua Kanter said: “Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to buy an actual eggplant? You’d really be killing two birds with one stone because afterwards you can cook it for dinner.”

Barbara Casey added: “Since when do we have to spend money to make masturbation fun, easy and accessible?”
