Boy stuck in school railings

A SIX-year-old boy had to be cut free from railings at his school after he trapped his knee.

Fire crews from Hindley were called to Ince Primary School, in Charles Street, at 12.30pm on Monday after the youngster got his leg stuck.

They used hydraulic cutting gear to prise open the railings and the boy was released.

He was trapped for a few minutes but was not injured.
