BUSINESSES are being invited to buy tickets for a Wigan circus show - which can then be used by local disabled and disadvantaged children.
Circus Starr comes to the DW Stadium carpark on Tuesday September 17.
And companies are being invited to buy tickets as part of a unique Donated Ticket Programme. These are handed on to a wide range of children’s services, schools and community groups which last year included Milldam Grange, Willow Grove School and Disabled Children’s Trust NW.
Circus Starr director Neville Watson said: “We are always stunned by the fantastic support we receive from the Wigan businesses and the warm welcome we are given from the entire community each year.
“We are very much looking forward to hosting our circus show here later this year.
“Circus Starr welcomes any donation no matter how big or small. What matters is that every donation goes to create a memory that lasts a life-time. Just £20 buys a ticket that will enable a vulnerable, sick or disabled child to forget their worries for a while and enjoy the magic of the circus.”
Any new business wishing to make a donation contact Circus Starr on 01260 288690.
