JADE Anderson’s family attended a candlelit vigil in memory of the popular teenager last night as it emerged the owner of the dogs which killed her may face no criminal charges.

Hundreds of mourners turned out to a vigil in her memory at Fred Longworth High School as Chinese lanterns filled the skies over Atherton.

Jade was alone at a friend’s house in Chaucer Grove when she was savaged by four dogs.

Yesterday, tributes continued to pour in from a visibly shocked community.

But police may be unable to bring charges as the attack happened on private property.

Supt Mark Kenny said officers were “exploring all options”.
