A SMALL car fire caused traffic chaos in rush hour traffic.

Fire crews were called to Scot Lane, in Marsh Green, after the engine of a vehicle had started smoking and set alight at 4.40pm on Friday.

Firefighters used a hose reel and had brought the fire under control within 15 minutes.

No-one was injured and firefighters managed traffic in both directions as one lane was temporarily closed, causing some tailbacks.
