PEOPLE living across the region are being urged to fill in the official 2011 census forms next month – or face large fines.
The forms are about to be sent out for the once-a-decade population survey which aims to take a look at the shape of the nation.
The information will be used to determine council funding for services for the next 10 years, ensuring there are enough school places and to manage hospital and health service planning.
Census day is Sunday, March 27.
Completing the census is compulsory, with those who fail to facing fines of up to £1,000.
The form can be completed online or by post. For more information visit www.2011.census.gov.uk
