Concern for missing man

POLICE are appealing for help to find a missing man.

Crawford Niven, 44, was last seen at around 6.30am yesterday, Thursday, in Highmeadow.

He left for work in Chorley and was spotted around 2.40pm in the Parbold area.

His vehicle, a red Citroen Berlingo, was later found in a car park at Beacon Country Park in Skelmersdale.

PS Neil Weaver of Skelmersdale Police said: “Mr Niven’s family and work colleagues are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and police would urge him to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.”

Mr Niven is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, with grey hair and was last seen wearing a dark waist length jacket, dark top and beige trousers. He also wears glasses.
