A MAN was left trapped in his car after a three-vehicle crash at a busy Wigan crossroads.
A HGV was involved in a collision with a Range Rover and a Nissan Juke at the junction of High Street and School Lane in Standish shortly before 11.30am today (Thursday).
Miraculously all parties escaped without any serious injuries but firefighters had to cut the driver of the Range Rover out of his car.
A police spokesman says that the HGV has gone over the bonnet of one of the cars and that the man who was trapped sustained only minor injuries.
An eyewitness, who sent the above photo of the mangled Range Rover to the Evening Post, described the driver as talking happily to paramedics.
