AN elderly man seriously injured in a collision in Wigan has died.
At 9.35am on Monday, 25 April, police were called to Bolton Road, Wigan, following reports of a collision.
Officers attended and discovered that a car and van had collided close to the junction with Hope Street.
Thomas Woodward, aged, 92, who was driving a Suzuki Wagon, was taken to Wigan Royal Infirmary with a serious head injury but sadly died on Monday 2 May 2011.
