The incident occurred at around 8.10pm on Saturday (October 24th) when two men – one armed with a baseball bat and one with a knife - approached the rear of an address on Hall Lane and confronted the occupant, who was outside at the time.

The occupant, a man aged in his 50s, ran into the house but the offenders were able to push past him to get inside the property. They then made their way inside the address, where they threatened the man’s wife at knifepoint and stole a small amount of cash and mobile phones.
