Banned young Wigan motorist stopped by police driving an HGV

Reece Hignett, 21, of Gordon Street, Leigh, appeared before Wigan magistrates to plead guilty to being at the wheel of a heavy goods vehicle on Atherton Road, Hindley, on August 30 when he was forbidden to do so.

The bench barred him from driving for a further six months, ordered that he complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities and ordered that he pay £180 in court costs and a victim services surcharge.
