Domestic assaults and driving offence charges after man found hiding in wall

Craig Shelley, from Skelmersdale, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, threats to commit criminal damage, and driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.

The 32-year-old will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Monday January 25.

Greater Manchester Police said Shelley has been remanded in custody until then.

Officers from the Wigan District Tasking Team arrested a man who was found concealed in a wall in the Kirkby area of Merseyside at around 7am on Tuesday January 20.
