Hunt still on for Wigan park stab attackers
A man who was stabbed in a daylight attack has been discharged from hospital.
The 33-year-old was knifed twice by two men in Laithwaite Park, Newtown, on Tuesday teatime and staggered to a nearby pub from where the alarm was raised.
He was taken to Salford Royal Hospital has now been deemed well enough to go home.
No arrests have so far been made.
