Man, 24, arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after police pursuit

Just after 3am today (March 17) at Coppull, officers got behind a Grey Fiat Punto.

After seeing the marked police vehicle, the subject car accelerated off and a pursuit started.

The chase then continued before the driver got out of the vehicle and was subsequently arrested, Lancashire Police said.

A 24-year-old man was detained on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, criminal damage and other traffic offences and remains in custody.
