Man accused of causing suffering to dog
A court date has been set for a man accused of animal cruelty by forcing his dog to wear a pronged collar.

Peter Hargreaves, 57, of Elmers Green, Skelmersdale, is also charged with not seeking veterinary treatment for his boxer dog Kevin when the collar caused neck lesions.
The case is now scheduled to reappear before Wigan magistrates on December 15.
Hargreaves has yet to plead to the two charges.
