Man charged with double assault and stealing almost £100 of meat

A man has been charged with assaulting two people and trying to steal meat products worth £97 from the Co-op in Hawkley Hall on Saturday, January 4.

Adam Bannister, 33, of Spring Gardens, Atherton, will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court later in the year to answer the charges.
