Man taken to hospital with stab wounds after Hindley incident
Emergency services were called to Chapel Green Road, Hindley, at around 3.30pm this afternoon to reports that a man had been stabbed.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called around 3.30pm today (Monday 18 January 2021) to Chapel Green Road, Hindley to a report that a male had been stabbed.

Hide Ad"Emergency services attended and enquiries established a 36-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times in the leg.
"The man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
"Enquiries are in their early stages. No arrests have been made."
Police said anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 3616 quoting incident number 1608 of 18/01/21. Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Hide AdA spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said: "We received a call regarding an incident on Chapel Green Road at 15.29 and mobilised a number of resources including an air ambulance, response vehicle and an ambulance. One patient has been taken to hospital (by road) with serious injuries."
