Pair stole £180 worth of air fresheners

Wayne Raftry, 48, of Lord Street, Leigh, and 31-year-old Anthony Roby, of no fixed address, stood before Wigan justices to admit to the theft and criminal damage at Leigh’s Poundland on May 4.
Raftry was given a 12-week prison term but it was suspended for a year. Community punishments include 20 days of rehabilitation activities and attending a drug misuse course. He also has £213 to pay in court costs and a victim services surcharge.

Hide AdRoby, who admitted breaching supervision requirements as well as the other charges was sent to prison for 16 weeks.
He was told he was being sent down because of his past record and reputation for ignoring court orders. He was ordered to pay £128 to victim services.
