Police hunt man in connection with Wigan car dealership thefts

Police investigating a series of car thefts from dealerships across Greater Manchester, including some in Wigan, have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.

Police investigating a series of car thefts from dealerships across Greater Manchester have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents.

Between June 2019 and August 2020 officers have been made aware of at least six incidents of a man breaking into several vehicles on various showroom forecourts.

One each occasion the offender has stolen car parts of high-value and it is estimated that the total value of the times taken exceeds £10,000.

The incidents have mainly taken place in Bolton but have also occurred in the Wigan and Chorley areas.

All of these incidents are believed to be linked and investigators wish to identify the pictured man and speak to him about the thefts.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
