Police seize Class A drugs and thousands in cash from Wigan address

Wigan police officers seized a "considerable" quantity of Class A drugs and thousands of pounds in cash after executing a warrant at a property in Scholes.

Neighbourhood officers from Scholes and Wigan West combined on Friday April 23 to execute a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address on Collette Close, Scholes.

What appears to be a considerable amount of uncut Class A drugs were recovered along with several thousand pounds in cash.

One person was arrested at the address and enquiries are now being undertaken to uncover the further co-conspirators.
