Prison sentence for Wigan assault thug
A Wigan man who smashed his way into a house and assaulted a woman has been jailed for 20 weeks.
John Paul Roberts, 34, of Warrington Road, Ince, appeared before Wigan magistrates by video-link in relation to the incident on February 5.
He was charged with assaulting Jessica Wright by beating her and damaging a window and door worth £150.
He also breached a restraining order imposed by Bolton Crown Court in January 2018 when he smashed his way into the address through the rear door.
