Razor charge

A MAN has appeared in court charged with possessing a cut throat razor and wooden baton in Wigan town centre.

Seamus Tierney, 22, pleaded not guilty to possessing the razor in Wallgate and the baton in Arcade Street, both on October 15 last year.

Tierney, of Anchor Fields, Eccleston, Chorley, was further remanded on bail by Liverpool Crown Court to await his trial beginning on April 16.
