Warrant issued for Wigan pleasure cruiser looter

A warrant has been issued for a second man wanted for looting a Wigan Pier pleasure cruiser.

Darren Kay, 39, from Scholes, is charged with stealing £2,000 of alcohol belonging to Kittywake Canal Cruises on May 3, but Wigan justices heard he has now gone missing.

Earlier this year Sean Chaplin, 38, of Brookhouse Flats, Scholes, was given a suspended jail sentence after admitting burgling the tour barge Elleswake at the Pier on May 2.
